- David Hockney was born on July 9th 1937 and is from Bradford, England. Along with being a photographer he is a painter, draughtsman, printmaker, amd stage designer. He studied at the Royal College of Art in London.
- Hockneys are is very bright and colorful, he mostly does portraits, while his photgraphy, which he calls "joiners", are several pictures put together to make a collage of a bigger picture. His paintings have expressionist elements.
- Fun Facts: David Hockney is openly gay and he was born with synesthesia (he sees synesthetic colours in response to musical stimuli)
